The OA is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not providing compassionate appointment to the applicant.

Brief facts of the case are that the father of the applicant, who worked as Motor Vehicle Driver in the respondents organization passed away on 13.11.2008 after rendering 30 years of service.

Applicant being eligible for compassionate appointment, under the relevant rules of the respondent organization, applied for the same.

The respondents, in response to the application made, wanted certain information to be provided, as mentioned in para 4(c) of the OA.

Applicant submitted the entire information called for.

But, there has been no response from the respondents.

Hence, he made a representation on 18.12.2019, followed it up by another representation dt.01.06.2020.

There being no fruitful result, the OA is filed.

The contention of the applicant is that he is eligible for compassionate appointment as per the Rules of the respondent organization. anization.

Even after repeated representations to the respondents, time and again, there has been no response.

Heard both the counsel.

The applicant claims that he is eligible for compassionate appointment as per the relevant norms of the respondent organization and that he has represented on 18.12.2019 and 01.06.2020.

It is reported that these representations have not been disposed till date.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the applicant dt.

18.12.2019 and 01.06.2020 as per the relevant rules of organization and in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above directions, OA is disposed of, at the admission stage.
