The O.A. is filed in regard to selection to the post of Station Master / Goods Guard 3.
The brief facts of the case are that the applicant, who is working as Assistant Loco Pilot appeared in the General Departmental Competitive Examination held for selection to the post of JE / Station Master / Goods Guard / Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk.
He was not selected as JE / CC.
However, his name figured in the eligibility list for Station Master / Goods Guard.
He appeared in the written test but was not called for Aptitude Test.

The contention of the applicant is that the cut-off mark for candidates belonging to UR category in regard to selection to the post of Station Master is 65.20 and that he obtained 68.68 marks.
Having come to know about his marks being above the cut off marks, the applicant represented on 24.9.2021.
The representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the applicant within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, keeping in view the contentions made in the O.A, by issuing a speaking and reasoned order as per extant rules and law.
