The O.A. has been filed, challenging the irregular transfer of the applicant.

The brief facts of the case are that the applicant while working as GDS Packer, Chowdepalli Sub Office, was transferred to Annagaripalle B.O under Madanapalle Sub Division vide Memo dated 3.6.2020.

Aggrieved over the same, the present O.A. has been filed.

The contentions of the applicant are that the transfer order was issued without following the guidelines issued by the respondents on 21.10.2019.

The applicant alleges that he made several complaints against the Inspector, Punganur Sub Division to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Chittoor Division and also to the higher authority.

As a vindictive measure, the applicant claims, he has been transferred. ansferred.

The complaints have not been acted upon by the respondents.

The applicant also made an appeal to the Chief Postmaster General on 6.6.2020, which has not been disposed of till date.

Rajitha, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and, perused the pleadings on record.

The case is about the irregular transfer of the applicant from Chowdepalli S.O. to Annagaripalle B.O.

The applicant claims that the transfer has been made against the transfer guidelines.

Besides, he states that since he made complaints about the corrupt practices of Inspector of Posts to the superior orders, as a measure of vendetta, he has been transferred.

Aggrieved over the transfer, the applicant made an appeal to the Chief Postmaster General on 6.6.2020.

Learned counsel for the applicant prayed for a direction for disposal of the said appeal at the earliest.

In view of the above prayer, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation/ appeal of the applicant as per the relevant rules and in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, the O.A. is disposed of at the admission stage, without going into the merits of the case.
